Author Guidelines

The scientific article to be submitted must be constructed from the model bellow. Participants must type their texts inside this model. Articles typed outside this model will not be accepted.

For participants in the Research Fair, click on the link bellow to download the model-file:

Additional information:

  • Full texts can only be sent by participants with oral presentation that have their abstract accepted. The sending of the full text follows the same procedure for the abstract registration, such as described in “Registration for Participation with Presentation of Work”.
  • Detailed instructions to send complete texts will be forwarded in the acceptance letter of the proposal for oral presentation (abstract), through e-mail.
  • Sending of the complete text can be done up to 30 days after the participation in the event.
  • The norms and format orientation of the scientific article are disposed on the model-file indicated above. We kindly ask to read it carefully.
  • It is understood that the sending of the full text is something posterior, for it is assumed that an event of scientific initiation is a space for reflection, debate and oxygenation of ideas and researches. It is wished that the reflections gestated amidst the event be included in the elaboration exercise of the final text.
  • Texts of participants that do not orally present their work will not be published.
The file sent must mandatorily be in Word format. Files sent in other formats will not be accepted (!)

Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. I selected (in the box above named “Track policies”) the Thematic Symposium which I want to submit the abstract of my presentation and, eventually and later on, the complete text.
  2. I am aware that it is a single abstract (for oral presentation) per participant as the main author.
  3. The abstract that I will insert in the next page has up to 250 words, presents the subject of research, the adopted developments in research, the methodology and the main results.
  4. When submitted, the complete text uses the Congress Template for articles. I am aware that I will have my text refused if I do not use this template. [If your text is not in the template of the Congress, download it by clicking here]
  5. When submitted, the complete text will have up to 40,000 characters (including spaces) and present title, abstract and keywords in two languages (the vernacular and in English), unless the text is written in English. In this case, the text will present title, abstract and keywords in English only.
  6. When submitted, the complete text will be uploaded in WORD format [I am aware that PDF files are discarded by the scientific committee and shall not be published in the proceedings]
  7. I agree with the policies and guidelines of the event and say that the following research (as in abstract form as in complete text) is an authorial work, which respects the principles of intellectual integrity and has not plagiarism. [I am aware that plagiarism is a crime and that, if identified in my work, it will be rejected and not published in the proceedings of the event]
  8. I am aware that, on the next page, by entering the submission’s metadata of my presentation, I shall select the "Portuguese - Brazil" in the "language form" box, if it is not already selected. (First item of the form).

Note to foreigners: This selection does not mean that the system interface will turn into “Portuguese", neither that I have to submit the metadata in Portuguese. It just means that the main language of the event is the Portuguese, even if the event has simultaneous translation. In the case of foreigners who use another language (English, for example) to navigate in the system’s event, this selection is critical for the success of the presentation’s submission.
